Positive: sunset view from the rooftop bar is fabulous. Location is within 10 min walk to beach and lots of eateries. Free parking (4 lots max) is safe

Negative: the traffic noise is non-stop until 11pm due to the location. At 1am an especially loud sound perhaps from a huge vehicle reaching the top of the hill just below my window killed my sleep for rest of the night. Also, no aircon, and windows cannot screen off traffic noise much

Positive: The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant are beautiful with a fabulous view. The beach is a short walk away.

Negative: One of the windows in our room (301) was missing/broken. In the morning, we wanted to have coffee in the restaurant. There was none. My husband went to a store a few minutes away to purchase coffee and milk. We were then told that we would have to pay 5 soles for hot water to make the coffee. We were unhappy with the fact that we had already had to leave to buy our own supplies that any hotel or restaurant should have, and unimpressed that, after not even having it served to us (we boiled water and cleaned our cups after drinking it) that they would still try to charge for hot water.
